In 2023, the seeds for My SC Lights were sown on a brisk South Carolina winter’s day when founder Jason Carter faced the annual chore of hanging holiday lights. Frustrated by the laborious task of setting up and then removing the lights while battling the elements, Jason was motivated to conceive a more permanent solution.
Jason dedicated himself to devising a method of installing permanent lights that would eliminate the need for yearly setups. He delved into the intricacies of home construction to ensure that his installation method would preserve the integrity of roofs and gutters. This led him to innovate our proprietary channel system. My SC Lights’ channel is designed to attach effortlessly to the home’s fascia, providing a robust, aesthetically pleasing lighting solution that lasts.
